Thank you for your interest in the Frabbit cross. I have listed the answers to the most frequently asked customer questions on this site. If you still have questions please use the contact form on the shop to send me an email. You can find the form here: https://ealajewellery.bigcartel.com/contact
PLEASE READ ALL THE FAQs BEFORE EMAILING
1. Where
do I find an exact product description and pricing?
The cross costs £58.00* per item plus shipping.
To get an idea what that would be in your local currency you can use this
currency converter:
https://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/
You can find a
detailed description of the cross here:
https://ealajewellery.bigcartel.com/product/fr-cross
*I had to increase the price to reflect increased costs for material and a 2nd goldsmith who is helping me with the orders to meet the high demand. Please read the FAQ paragraph about the donations made from the cross sales to learn more.
2. Do
you have more photos of the cross?
Please visit https://ealajewellery.bigcartel.com/gallery for more photos
3.
What options can I choose from?
Polished cross with s/s keyring
Polished cross with chain
Brushed cross with s/s keyring
Brushed cross with chain
ATTENTION: For this batch you will need to choose between a polished and a brushed cross when you order. You also need to add to the comment field in the check out process if you want a chain or a key ring and if you would like the cross with or without FR intials.
All orders without any information in the comment field will per default receive the cross with a 17"chain and without FR intials. Please make sure you add all needed information. Late ammends to your order will not be possible.
4. What means polished / brushed?
These are the available finishes for the cross. The polished cross has a glossy
and the brushed a matt silver finish.
DON'T FORGET: For this batch you will also need to add to the comment field in the check out process if you want a chain or a key ring
5. Can I have a golden cross instead of silver?
I am sorry, but this is not possible at the moment. A golden cross would be a
custom order with a custom pricing. It would be much more expensive than the
standard silver option because of the high costs for gold. Due to the high
demand for the standard silver cross I cannot take on any additional custom
orders for the foreseeable time.
6. Can I still
order?
The next batch will be released in September 2020 .
No pre-orders will be offered and I am not holding a waiting list. Please follow my social media accounts for regular updates.

The crosses are handmade by order. That means I will make as many crosses as needed. Please just be aware that it will take time to fulfill all orders especially since I make the crosses in my spare time after work. Thank you for your patience.
7. Is there an
order limit?
Yes, at the moment the limit is a max of 2 crosses per person to allow as many
people as possible receiving their order timely. All crosses are handmade and
not a bulk order product.
8. What does
shipping cost?
Shipping within the UK costs £3.50 (2nd class tracked) for 1 cross
or £5.00 for 2-3 crosses. Please be aware
this option does not insure jewellery items but does cover tracking and a
signature on delivery. By placing your order, you accept these terms and
conditions. Please allow 3 working days (plus 1-2 extra days if around Christmas) for orders within the UK from shipment.
The pricing for international shipping Is £9.00 for 1 cross or £15.00 for 2-3
crosses. Please go through the checkout process in the shop and the shipping
price for your location will be added once you put in your address.
9. Do you ship
internationally?
Yes, I do ship internationally. All international orders will be sent out with
Royal Mail International tracked. A signature is not required on delivery. This
service offers up to £50 compensation insurance for lost items. By placing your
order you are accepting the terms and conditions in relation to this. Please
allow 7-10 working days (plus 2-3 extra days if around Christmas) from shipment. Sadly, I cannot ship to Australia due to
the countries own restrictions on precious metals.
10. Why do you not ship to Australia?
It is not allowed by law to send jewellery to Australia. I wish I could send
the cross to Australia but if I tried the order would get blocked by customs
and never arrive at your address.
11. How long will
it take to get my cross?
At the moment it will likely take 2-6 weeks for UK orders and 3-8 weeks for International orders. All crosses are handmade in my
spare time. I am a qualified goldsmith but in my day to day life I work full
time as an apheresis nurse. Thank you for your patience.
12. I ordered accidentally / do not
want a cross anymore. Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Cancellations are only possible in emergencies. Please buy only when you are 100% sure you want a cross.
In case of emergency please contact me through my online form. A refund is possible as long as the
order was not yet worked on or even sent out. Please be aware that the
transactions fees I have to pay for the online store also apply for cancelled
orders. The fee (UK 1.4% + 20p. Worldwide 2.9% +20p per order) will be deducted from
your refund.
13. Can I change my order after it has been
placed?
Unfortunately no you can’t so
please be very sure about what you want to order before purchasing.
If you want to change your order then you would need to cancel and place a new
order. Note that this would then put you to the back of the queue. Refund would be made minus transaction fee.
14. How much money per cross will you donate
and who will get the money?
75% of the profit will be donated to a charity Scott’s family and closest friends are setting up in his memory. Please
follow the Twitter and Instagram accounts of Frightened Rabbit to stay informed
about all upcoming news around this. The difference between the donation and
the sales price of the cross is to cover the costs for all needed material, production help and administrative
costs like the transaction fees charged by the online shop provider as well as a small amount for my work time. I am
working as cost efficient as possible to maximize the donation. I am also donating
my skills and a lot of time.
15. Have Scott’s family / Frightened Rabbit been
informed about the Frabbit cross?
Yes, I have known Scott and Grant for many years and would have not started and
followed through with this project without Grant’s support and endorsement. Please
